LS? dreaming too much are you? D! with Centennial, mater dei, st john bosco, and several more? You guys would realize that D1 is far far far better than the clubs LS has been beating in playoffs (no mention league they have been in because LS is major league back then playing the other farm league teams! I think those whittier and santa fe location administrations don’t care too much for trying to find very good coaches (same as trying to find classroom teachers that are most likely to teach students to reach potential academically.for some reason? I do think it is possible that there is not enough college football /and academically very good also candidates wanting to be head coaches. Years ago (again i could be off a bit) there were much more qualified graduate college athletes that prepared in college to become a head high school coach.

Peterson , i think , is correct that they are in better division and he has a right to think like he does. NO I dont think same as him because La Serna has continued to do exactly what they have been doing. and ( please dont insult my grammar as i don’t care about it) for a long time. very steady staff and been doing what they do long time to. I have no idea who would win a battle of the two teams, but i never count ls out of this game.

I’m not saying La Serna is better than Amat, but beating a solid Salesian squad by 20 ain’t bad. Amat is still better and is pretty clearly the best team in the SGV, but don’t underestimate LS. Wouldn’t be shocked if they defeated CDM this week.

Why tf are you bringing up Los Al? I did say who Amat beat… the original point was Amat’s non-league schedule is tougher than La Serna’s non-league games. Amat blew out all those teams with the exception of Oak Hills. You really believe Schurr, Baldwin Park, Salesian and Northview are just as good or better than Oak Hills, Valencia and Culver City? Hell you could say Schurr and Northview are on a downhill slide based on last year’s teams when they played LS. LS also hasn’t played a true quality opponent yet so, at this point, I think Amat would beat LS just purely based on strength of schedule and nothing else.
We need an Amat/La Serna game because I’m tired of the speculation.
Those teams are all on the downhill slide. Alot of ranking polls have St.Paul, Los Alimitos and others ranked high. Tell me who they beat not where they are ranked. Not a troll. Watch Thursday night at CDM. All the Lancers games have been over by the half if not the 1st quarter.
Amat beat Oak Hills, Valencia, and Culver City… all of whom are ranked either near or above LS according to Maxpreps. LS must be really feeling himself/his team or is really bad at trolling.
Bishop has not played anyone close the Lancers juggernaut. The Lancers would beat them by 21. What the Lancers will do to Corona Del Mar this week will prove my point.
From T. Peterson: I like La Serna. They look great right now. But Amat would beat them by three touchdowns. They’re on different levels when it comes to Divisions. Amat is D-2. La Serna is about D-4 or D-5.
