(Covina) – Northview let a 4-0 lead get away and fell to Kaiser 7-4 in eight innings Friday at Northview High. The Vikings led 4-0 through the first four innings before Kaiser rallied.

(San Dimas) – San Dimas named Dylan O’Leary as its new head football coach he confirmed Thursday. For O’Leary it’s a return home to his alma mater. He played quarterback for the Saints graduating in 2019.

Rio Hondo Prep, La Serna, Los Altos, La Canada right out of the gate…who’s next? Indiana?

La Salle, Alhambra and Maranatha are nice non-league local matchups.

The one time in my youth I arranged to watch the NCAA Tourney from sun-up to sundown…it was great. But at the end of the day, I felt sick inside, because I never went outside.
…And there was no one to call–everyone was at work. Social media was called the barber shop, and I didn’t cut my hair too often in those days.
