After a long hot summer Damien is still king. The Spartans have a schedule that resembles a death march but when you have big boy talent you play the big boy teams. Muir, Bishop Amat, La Serna and Schurr have all had big summers. Bonita, Charter Oak, St. Paul and Rio Hondo Prep are all ready to compete and Northview is headed to Vegas in Week Zero.

Dodgers Notes:8/18/2025

What a difference a weekend makes. Heading into the weekend, the Dodgers had lost four straight, were a game back of first in the NL West, and the vibes were at an all time low. Now, heading into a new week, the Dodgers just swept their chief competitor in the NL West,  are in first place by two games, and the vibes are massively high. We refuse to ride the roller coaster! Wilson ran the Montview League table last year and has several starters returning. However Nogales looks ready to make a move The Nobles have a solid quarterback and some other key players. Azusa has had a great summer and looks good for at least third place. The rest of the league is up for grabs.

Now, the sky is really falling (not really), as the Angels swept the Dodgers – AGAIN – and the Dodgers fell out of first place in the NL West. Oh no! Again, we are not that worried. The team has too much talent to get overly worked up about day-to-day performances.
