By Tim Peterson Jordan Lobianco had a big game for Crescenta Valley Friday night. He caught an 82-yard touchdown pass, and returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown. He was good enough to have his highlights shown on “The Challenge” with Fred Roggin and Petros Papadakis Sunday night on NBC.

Lions Roll Away the Stone, 40-22

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – El Monte jumped out to a 32-0 lead in the first half and rolled to a 40-22 win over Gladstone Thursday night at Citrus College.

Quarterbacks of the MVL

  These Mission Valley League quarterbacks aren’t in any ranking order or listed by ability or talent. It is an interesting group however. Some are returning and some aren’t. Some have received a lot of ink already this summer while others haven’t caused a blip. Here we go:

We got a chance to see Baldwin Park up close and personal Saturday morning. The Braves have over 90 players currently in the program and had nearly that many out on Saturday for spring practice.
