Payton Lands at Chadron State

(La Verne) – Runnning back Jake Payton, who started his high school career at San Dimas and finished it at Bonita last year, is heading to Nebraska to continue playing football at Chadron State he confirmed today.

Did you know that Joseph “The Count” Mayorga and Fausto Martinez combined for 3,234 yards and 40 touchdowns on the ground last year for the Saints. Tough to replace.

The Peterson Principle 2/18/13

It’s a year round celebration for Monrovia. First there was the third consecutive Mid-Valley Divison title. Then it was on to the State tournament. Now the Wildcats have had five players receive scholarships to play college football.

Last year there were so many weapons. There were guys like Chris Solomon, Jimmy Frazier, Justin Meadors, Chris Caballero, Gus Vilchis, Lonzell Barnett and Dorrin Turner. All those guys are gone and then there were injuries.
