By Tim Peterson (Montebello) – Eddie Ficklin Jr. has stepped down as the head football coach after three seasons it was confirmed Friday. The position for an opening for a head coach is posted on the CIF Southern Section website.

South Hills Academy Names Silvernail Head Football Coach

Knights Hang On; Alone in First Place

By Tim Peterson (El Monte) – Arroyo jumped out to a big lead in the first half but then had to hang on to beat Rosemead 53-49 Monday night on Senior Night at Arroyo. With the victory Arroyo moved into sole possession of first place in the Mission Valley League.
