Spartans Advance to Semi’s After 5-run Second
(La Canada) – Early jitters didn’t derail La Canada’s run through the quarterfinals with an 8-1 win over Katella to advance to the “final four” of the CIF-SS Division 5 playoffs.
Lady Knights 3-Run Fifth Enough to Advance (See interviews)
(El Monte) – Arroyo exploded for three runs in the fifth to advance to the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 5 playoffs with a 3-1 win over San Marino. Jaclyn Wagner pitched seven strong innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out 10 Titans enroute to her 15th win of the season.
Duarte Advances After Protest Win
Duarte has advanced to play South El Monte in the Second Round of the CIF-SS Division 5 playoffs.

All games begin at 3:15pm. Coverage teams are highlighted. Due to protest, both Duarte and Alhambra are listed playing against South El Monte until it becomes final.

Playoffs in full swing and many of the local area teams have been sent home for Summer Vacation. Definitely have a huge problem with the illegal batting practice rule which we will discuss this week.
