Bulldogs Extend Win Streak to Three
(Azusa) – For the second straight year, West Covina got the best of Glendora with an exciting 33-28 victory at Citrus College. For the Bulldogs it was their third straight win and dropped the Tartans out of the ranks of the unbeaten.
Lancers Comeback to Shock Matadores
(Whittier) – La Serna never stopped believing while being down by 11-points to La Mirada and staged a comeback of monumental proportions with a 32-28 upset.

The Top 20 doesn’t see any new teams breaking into it after Week Two results. Muir drops from the Top five and West Covina moves back in. La Serna also cracks the Top 10 after an impressive win against Wilson-Long Beach.
Tigers Avenge Loss to Tornadoes 31-25
(Glendale) – South Pasadena avenged last year’s loss to Hoover with a 31-25 win at Moyse Field. The Tigers avoided an upset with 7:48 remaining in the third quarter as Patrick Martin scored from 8-yards out to make the score 24-19. Martin would finish with three touchdowns on the night.

To say that the Southeast Division was filled with upsets is an understatement as the Top 5 all got beat. Biggest winner are the Bearcats with impressive victories over San Dimas and Claremont. Biggest loser is Diamond Ranch as they haven’t found their rhythm on offense in two games.
Crown City Classic Goes to Maranatha
(Pasadena) – For the second consecutive week, La Salle was out-muscled by an Olympic League opponent that exposed their undersized line and linebackers as Maranatha won 38-7.
Spartans Defense Shuts Down Alhambra
(La Canada) – A stellar defensive performance by La Canada was the catalyst in 17-0 victory over Alhambra Thursday night. The Spartans held the Moors to 72-yards in the second half and sacked Joshua Mendoza six times.
