The Devil Made Me Do It

You can thank Joe Torosian for my return.  JT decided to call me out on his story , yesterday. This column when written will also take the place of Andy’s Rants as well.  Not going to do that HD-lite stuff.

Panthers Let One Get Away In Semi’s

(Pomona) – Turnovers and poor shot selection in the second half for Diamond Ranch turned a seven-point lead into a CIF-SS Division 2A semi-finals loss to Woodbridge, 42-34. It was the second straight season that the Warriors would end the Panthers playoff drive.

Apaches Derail Spartans 57-44

(La Canada) – For a better part of a half, La Canada stayed with the 15th ranked-team in the state before falling to an athletic Centennial Compton squad 57-44.

Lady Spartans Rally Falls Short

(La Canada) – Tia Chen’s desperation three-point shot went wide at the buzzer for La Canada and it allowed road-weary Atascadero to survive a thrilling second round Division 4AA playoff game with a 53-51 win.
