Alhambra Beats Temple City, 27-7

By Ron Vrooman (Alhambra) – It looked ugly at times, but the Alhambra Moors were able to overcome a slow start to post a 27-7 victory over the visiting Temple City Rams on Friday night.

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Rio Hondo Prep ran for 321 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-0 rout of Maranatha Thursday night on the Minutemen home field.

Damien remains at the top after a big win over JSerra. Downey is still right there with a close call over Orange Vista. Charter Oak moved up with a huge win over Upland at Sofi. Bishop Amat and St. Paul both took a fall while Baldwin Park joined the party by outscoring Covina.

El Monte Steamrolls Alhambra, 40-0

By Ron Vrooman Quarterback Alex Aleman completed 18 of 33 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns to lead the visiting El Monte Lions to a 40-0 rout of the Alhambra Moors on Friday night.

Saints Victorious in Battle with Bulldogs

By Duane Barker (Pasadena, CA) The San Dimas Saints traveled west to Pasadena to take on the Pasadena Bulldogs in the second game for each team in the 2025 season. The Saints unleashed Jacob Gallegos and Liam Loyola on the Bulldogs. The two racked up 226-yards and four touchdowns as San Dimas outlasted Pasadena 33-24.

Bell Gardens Hangs On, 14-7

By Tim Peterson (Pico Rivera) – Nathaniel Flores intercepted Adrian Lopez’ pass in the endzone as time ran out and Bell Gardens held on to beat El Rancho 14-7 Friday night at El Rancho.

Injuries Hamper Golden Knights, 45-19

By Rich Whittington (La Canada) The St. Francis Golden Knights had an uphill battle Friday evening, losing to the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs, 45-19, in front of a more than supportive crowd at Jim Bonds Stadium.
