(San Gabriel) – Tyler Shimamoto scored 27 points including a game tying runner at the regulation buzzer to lead Gabrielino to a 53-50 overtime win over Mt. View Friday night in a key Mission Valley League contest.

(Pasadena) – Muir had the better record. The Mustangs had lost once all year. But the prevailing feeling was that Pasadena had played a tougher schedule and was the better team. And with a home game, the Bulldogs had a decided advantage going into Friday night’s key Pacific League matchup with Muir.
