Feeling it was time to take a step back James Wilson has resigned as head football coach at Mountain View.
Wilson, who played his football at Azusa Pacific University with El Monte HC Joel Sanchez, took over the Vikings program in 2005. His record over seven years is 16-45 with half the of the wins coming over the last two seasons as View’s fortunes improved while running the double wing offense.
Former assistant Victor Ambruso is currently running the team as preparations for 2012 begin and figures to be the lead candidate for the job going forward.
