Northwest Game Night: Semi-Final Edition

The Rangers will look to oust Centennial and punch their ticket to the finals.

All games are at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated

 Bishop Diego (12-0, Tri-Valley #1) at North Torrance (10-2, Pioneer #1)

The Cardinals don’t appear to have been affected too much by the apparent unjust sanctions. The have gone on the road and have outscored their opponents 71-23. Jack Gregson is back in the backfield. Add him to Anthony Carter and Abel Gonzalez and you get 2094 yards and 30 touchdowns. On the other side the Saxon have dropped 69 on their oppenents while giving up 34 (all to Gladstone).  If Jorge Hernandez can find Devante Jenkins and Michael Jurado early like he did against Gladstone, advantage North as the Cardinals are used to playing from a lead. In the end Bishop Diego’s ground game will control the clock and the game.

Bishop Diego 27 North Torrance 21

Nordhoff (10-1, Tri-Valley #2) at Centennial (5-7, Pioneer at large)

The Apaches have proved that anything can happen once the playoffs start and regular season records can be deceptive. Nordhoff on the other hand has proven that they are one of the favorites to win the Northwest pounding playoff opponents to the tune of 96-28. The Rangers know win this one and redemption is on the horizon for their only loss of the season. If it’s any consolation to Centennial, their season will be ended in a rude way at home and not in Ojai.

Nordhoff 42  Centennial 17
