Goren Lee led all scorers with 24 points including five bombs from three point land

(Temple City) – Goren Lee knocked down five three pointers to lead Temple City to a 70-64 win over South Hills Friday night. Lee led all scorers with 24 as he had eight points in the first quarter to get the Rams started and also scored eight in the fourth to help finish the Huskies off.

Ali Elhawary added 19 for Temple City and Sean Diep was also in double figures with 13 including three from long range.

***The Rams and South Hills both came out firing and were tied at 21 after one.

***TC hit four threes in the first quarter including two by Lee.

***Jacob Estrada hit three consecutive three point bombs for South Hills to open the game and five overall to lead the Huskies with 19 points.

***Both teams had their biggest quarter of the game in the first. Temple City led 38-36 at the half.

***Estrada went cold in the fourth missing five straight threes and no points. South Hills was outscored 16-12 in the final period.

***Darik Pradia (12) and Chris Martin (11) were also in double figures for the Huskies.

***South Hills hit 12 three pointers overall while Temple City hit nine.

***Sophomore Richard Hollinger, son of former Temple City Coach Rich Hollinger, finished with four points. Hollinger was on hand to see his son play.

***The two teams also played each other even in the third 16-16. The Rams led 54-52 after three before locking it down in the fourth.

***Temple City improved to 3-1 overall while South Hills dropped to 4-3.
