  1. Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams has torn his ACL and is out for the season. 
  2. Diamond Ranch HC Eric Martinez was treated for a heart attack following a win over Glendora last Thursday night. He had surgery over the weekend and could miss up to 4-6 weeks. Assistant Timothy Fischer will take over as interim coach during his absence. 
  3. Chargers cornerback JC Jackson has a warrant out for his arrest for violating his probation. 
  4. Monday Night Football results: Cincinnati Bengals 19 Rams 16; Philadelphia Eagles 25 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 11.
  5. Former Baltimore Orioles third baseman/ Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson passed away at the age of 86. Robinson was an 18-time All-Star, 16-time Gold-Glove Award winner and helped lead the Orioles to two World Series Championships. Robinson spent his entire 23-year career with the Orioles.  
  6. Northview at Bonita, Upland at Damien, Diamond Ranch at Colony and Ayala at Glendora at Citrus College are all on Thursday night this week. 
  7. St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Adam Wainwright has announced his retirement. Wainwright, who won his 200th career game eight days ago, spent his entire 18-year career with the Cardinals.        
  8. The New York Jets signed veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian to their practice squad. 
  9. Chargers receiver Keenan Allen racked up 49 points for “CIF Suspension” in the Mid Valley Perspective Fantasy League Sunday.
  10. Baltimore, Tampa Bay and Minnesota have clinched playoff berths in the American League and Atlanta, Milwaukee and the Dodgers have clinched playoff berths in the National League.
