  1. The Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2 Monday night at Dodger Stadium to fall behind 2-0 in the NLDS. Game 3 is Wednesday night in Arizona. 
  2. The Atanta Braves rallied to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4 Monday night to even the NLDS at 1-1. Game 3 is Wednesday night in Philadelphia. 
  3. The Las Vegas Raiders beat the Green Bay Packers 17-13 on Monday Night Football. 
  4. ALDS-Tuesday results: The Houston Astros beat the Minnesota Twins 9-1 to take a 2-1 lead; The Texas Rangers beat the Baltimore Orioles 9-1 to complete a three-game sweep of the series.    
  5. The Rams traded receiver Van Jefferson to the Atlanta Falcons for a 2025 sixth-round pick. The Falcons will also receive a seventh-round selection the same year. 
  6. Chargers running back Austin Ekeler should return to the lineup Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. 
  7. Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson will miss at least four games with a strained right hamstring. 
  8. Miami Dolphins running back De’von Achane is expected to miss multiple weeks with a knee injury. 
  9. USC at Notre Dame, Saturday 4:30 p.m. NBC. 
  10. On this day in 2020 the Lakers beat the Miami Heat 106-93 to win the NBA Title in six games. LeBron James was named MVP.
