  1. The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Dodgers 4-2 Wednesday night to sweep the NLDS in three games. 
  2. The ALCS is set: Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers. 
  3. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos 19-8 on Thursday Night Football. 
  4. The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 3-1 Thursday night to win the NLDS in four games. NLCS is set: Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks.     
  5. Former Dallas Cowboys running back Walt Garrison passed away at the age of 79. Garrison rushed for 76 yards in the Cowboys 24-3 win over the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl VI in 1972. 
  6. The Diamondbacks became the first team in playoff history to hit four home runs in the same inning in the 4-2 win over the Dodgers Wednesday night. Lance Lynn allowed all four home runs. 
  7. Downey vs. Warren, Friday night 7:00 p.m. Sofi Stadium. 
  8. The LA Kings lost to the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 Wednesday night to open the 2023-’24 season. 
  9. Former NFL wide receiver/ Hall of Famer Jerry Rice turns 61 today. 
  10. “Today I will do what others won’t so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.” – Jerry Rice.

    #6 If that is not a compelling enough final argument on why Roberts needs to go I don’t what is. Take that piece of garbage Friedman with you.
