Brown Steps Down at Sierra Vista

(Baldwin Park) – Travis Brown has stepped down as the head football coach at Sierra Vista after one year he confirmed Wednesday.

The Dons went 3-7 overall (3-2 in the Montview League) in Brown’s only year and lost in the first round of the CIF Division 14 playoffs to Duarte.

Brown has accepted a position at Bishop Amat as a safeties coach.

Sierra Vista will begin the search for a new head coach immediately.

    “Sorry Vista” this coming from a video of a Baldwin Park High School Staff member on rivals week! … All world AD @ Sierra Vista choosing friends before quality… a tradition that losers do and winners dont. Resigns emmediatly! 7 coaches in the last 8 years…. Forfeits, flying helicopters, fights! No class! Go back to where you came from!

    five months too late. sierra vista might as well go down to 8 man at this point, there chance to win another game is long gone.
