1. Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodriguez became the first player in MLB history Sunday to hit 20 home runs and steal 20 bases in each of his first four seasons. 

2. The Miami Marlins beat the New York Yankees 7-3 Sunday to complete their first ever sweep of the Yankees in a series of three or more games.

3. The Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 Sunday to win two out of three in the series but they are still just three games ahead of the second place San Diego Padres in the NL West.

4. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he is not swayed by star Micah Parsons’ trade request.

5. Luka Doncic signed a three-year, $165 million extension with the Lakers Saturday. 

6. Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was named general manager of Weber State.

7. Iowa State finalized a contract extension with head football coach Matt Campbell through the 2032 season. 

8. Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin is requesting a trade.

9. Jayce Johnson, the number three ranked quarterback in the class of ’27, has committed to Texas A&M. 

10. The Miami Dolphins signed defensive tackle Zach Sieler to a three-year, $67.65 million extension.
