  2. The Seattle Mariners beat the Toronto Blue Jays 10-3 Monday to take a 2-0 lead in the ALCS.
  3. Monday Night Football results: Atlanta 24 Buffalo 14, Chicago 25 Washington 24
  4. The Dallas Mavericks signed head coach Jason Kidd to a multi-year contract extension.
  5. Rams’ wide receiver Puka Nacua suffered an ankle sprain in Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens and is listed as day-to-day.
  6. The Tennessee Titans fired head coach Brian Callahan after a 1-5 start. Mike McCoy will take over as Interim head coach.
  7. San Diego Padres manager Mike Shildt announced he is retiring with two years left on a four-year contract.
  8. Detroit Lions defensive back Brian Branch has been suspended for one game without pay for unsportsmanlike conduct following Sunday’s game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
  9. USC is currently an 8.5 point underdog Saturday at Notre Dame.
  10. North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick says the rumors of a buyout and him leaving the school are “categorically false”.

    Starting pitching for the Dodgers in the first two games may be the best I’ve ever seen.
    17 innings 1 run 4 hits 17 strikeouts no runners past first base(except for leadoff HR).

    How much is the UCLA head coach earnibg for this huge turn around. Not much I bet. I also bet Newheisel getting more via endorsements because of all the TV exposure.
