- Denver quarterback Bo Nix fractured a bone in his right ankle on the second to last play in overtime in the win over Buffalo and is out for the rest of the season. Jarrett Stidham will start Sunday’s AFC Championship game.
- The Atlanta Falcons hired former Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach.
- The Green Bay Packers are bringing back head coach Matt LaFleur on a multiyear contract.
- The New York Mets signed infielder Bo Bichette to a three-year, $126 million contract.
- Catcher J.T. Realmuto returned to the Philadelphia Phillies on a three-year, $45 million deal.
- The Oklahoma City Thunder have the best record in the NBA at 35-8.
- Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams threw an improbable touchdown pass to Cole Kmet to tie the game with 18 seconds left in overtime. Although the pass was officially 14 yards, the pass actually traveled 51 yards through the air after Williams had backpedaled to avoid the rush. Williams also threw three interceptions in the game including one in overtime that led to the Rams victory.

That crazy pass had to have been to pay off some Mobsters prop bet. I read 25 billion was bet on this weekend’s NFL games. He threw it off his back foot, it then floated 51 yards, and no Ram was Within 5 yards of the receiver. They all must have been thinking about how they’re going to spend their gambling winnings.
