mvl! SEM got even ?? as much bad treatment or worse last baseball season when they beat mountain view by 30 runs in their two games. Well then SEM plays ( didnt they win league?) in a pretty good division in CIF playoffs losing to a pretty good team first round/? As mountain view ….apologies to all of you for this truth…was fifth in same league and entered division 14 (or the worst division in playoff tournament) then finished in the championship game after winning 3 straight games against few of the worst high school baseball teams around to ever enter playoff competition? What is happening in the science fiction minds of ‘THE CIF BOARD OF TERRIBLE DIRECTORS’/? w
Why have they done this to student athletes who deserve much better and to student athletes who do not deserve this messy system ‘of everyone deserves a baseball trophy/? isn’t pioneer another example of this mess?

@LP no that’s not the problem but I’m saying look at the important games esp in league South El Monte was getting called for anything at the worst times. Victor Valley is a tuff team maybe d7 but they do deserve the title South El Monte didn’t come prepared coach’s let Victor Valley go on too long of runs.

This Mater Dei win is notable for the fact that the Monarchs came into the game rated last in the bracket of 16, whereas La Mirada was rated #1. Tough way for the locals to end the season.

South El Monte has been done unfair by refs every year. No surprise today that the other team beat them over free throws.
