Post week six:

The Peterson Principle 9/24/12

Haven’t we seen this before? The Raiders win a big early season game over a possible contender and all the silver and black honks come crawling out of the woodwork proclaiming that they are ready to make a Super Bowl run.

Post Week Four Top 10 Monrovia fell to South Hills and dropped a spot while Sierra Canyon, Paraclete and San Dimas all won big. After another rout it looks like San Marino could be 8-0 going into Monrovia on October 26. Is Rosemead still under the radar?

Monrovia moved up to number two with a convincing win over San Dimas while Paraclete jumped to three by beating Dorsey. The question is can anybody beat Sierra Canyon? San Marino is making people take notice. El Monte scores 66 and still falls short.

The top four teams all won convincingly. After that it’s anybody’s ballgame. San Marino and El Monte both came up with big victories while South Pas and San Gabriel dropped the ball. Game of the week for week three: Monrovia at San Dimas.

The Peterson Principle 9/3/12

Mea Culpa Covina  I love it when I’m right but when I’m wrong, I need to acknowledge that also. And in the case of Covina it looks like I was wrong. After seeing how many players the Colts lost to graduation/transfer I thought they were in trouble.

After week one there is only one certainty. Nothing is certain. After the first four teams everything’s a crapshoot.
