(Alhambra) – The Alhambra Moors survived a difficult start in Friday night’s game against LA Wilson, combining an offensive explosion with much-improved defense in the final three quarters to score a 42-21 victory.

(Alhambra) – The Mark Keppel Aztecs scored a big win Thursday evening, shutting out the visiting Torres Toros, 28-0 in front of a very supportive crowd at Aztec Stadium.

The Athletics were destined to have a difficult time in St. Petersburg against the AL-leading Tampa Bay Rays but being swept for the 11th time this season still hurts. On my car radio in Los Angeles, I can pick up four sports talk stations: ESPN 710 & 830, Fox 570, and 97.1 (FM) The Fan.
On the way to work Sunday Morning…the ESPN affiliates were running the Los Angeles Angels game, and 570 was broadcasting the Dodgers pregame. None of these games were relevant to the pennant. Read more »
