Temple City – Despite shooting 1-15 from 3-point land, the Temple City Rams’ defense, led by Gavin Hang, who had a game-high seven steals, forced 19 turnovers Monday night against the Alhambra Moors at Temple City High School as they squeaked out a 51-46 win.

(Inglewood) – The Chargers broke open a tie game at halftime with two touchdowns in the third quarter and went on to beat Las Vegas 31-14 Sunday before 71, 018 at SoFi Stadium.

(Redondo Beach) – The Rio Hondo Prep Kares captured their third consecutive CIF Title Saturday evening, defeating the host Redondo Union Sea Hawks, 29-7, in front of an overflow crowd at Redondo Union High School. The win gives the Kares three titles in three years. They won the Division 9 Title in 2023, the Division 7 Title in 2024, and the Division 5 Title Saturday evening.

(Los Angeles) – USC outscored UCLA 22-0 in the second half and went on to beat the Bruins 29-10 Saturday before 69, 614 at United Airlines Field at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

(Whittier) – Gabriel Canchola hauled in a 10-yard touchdown pass from Michael Maldonado with 21 seconds left in the fourth quarter to propel South El Monte to a 14-6 win over Pioneer Friday night at Dick Torres Memorial Stadium in the CIF Division 14 Finals.
Freshman quarterback Waylon Stone secured the Warriors D-13 title behind a 249-yard/ two touchdown performance Friday night at Montebello High School.

Montebello – With 1:09 remaining in the fourth quarter, Montebello’s Donovan Murillo reached the endzone, making it 24-23 Woodbridge Friday night at Montebello High School, but when the special teams lined up for the game’s tying PAT, the kick was missed wide left and the Warriors escaped the CIF-SS Division 13 Final with the one-point win.
