View’s One Blood Tournament In Pictures

(El Monte) Mt. View hosted it’s second annual One Blood Tournament Saturday. Schools from around Southern California were on hand to put their skills to the test in passing and weight lifting. When the dust had settled Oaks Christian beat Montebello in the Finals.

Mt. View held it’s one blood Tournament on Saturday. Talked to a few coaches, took a few shots and got plenty of scoop. Oh and the tacos are the best in El Monte. Here’s a few more shots.    

Lights Go Out on the 605; East Emerges With Victory

By Tim Peterson (Whittier) – At Exactly 10:00 p.m., with 4:57 left in the fourth quarter, the lights went out on the 605 game Friday night. 15 minutes later, they came back on and the East maintained its lead and went on to a 31-26 win over the West at Pioneer High School.
