The Dons (4-1, 0-0) concluded their nonleague schedule out in the Inland Empire as they shut out the Steelers (1-4, 0-0) Friday night at Fontana High.
Josh Lopez rushed for 160 yards on 11 carries for the Dons. His two scores came in the first half on rushes of 10 and 94 yards. Johnny Garcia also contributed a 30-yard touchdown as part of his 77 rushing yards.

Rancho Alamitos 23, Pioneer 7
The Titans’ (0-5, 0-0) winless streak continued as they were crushed at home by the Vaqueros (4-1, 0-0) Friday night at Titans Stadium.
Vaqueros quarterback Lincoln Faletoi worked over the Titan defense, rushing for 180 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter. Pioneer’s lone score came from Ruben Robles’ 12-yard rush in the same quarter.

La Mirada 42, Artesia 0
The Matadores (2-4, 1-1) evened their Suburban League record by blanking the Pioneers (0-6, 0-2) Friday night at La Mirada High.
Of the nine drives the Matadores started, only one resulted in a punt while the remaining eight drives ended up n the end zone, with six scores and two interceptions of quarterback Kevin Dillman.

Bellflower 46, Glenn 16
The Buccaneers (4-2, 2-0) remained atop the Suburban League standings as they destroyed the Eagles (3-3, 1-1) Friday night at Ron Yary Stadium
Running backs Travis Newberry and Ryan Hundley combined for 381 yards on the ground as part of the Bucs’ 471 total offense on the ground. Hundley’s four scores included an 85-yard run.
