(Rowland Heights) – CJ Carrillo, who played running back and defensive back for Rowland last season, has committed to Azusa Pacific he confirmed Friday.
On offense he rushed for 954 yards and 27 touchdowns and averaged over eight yards per carry. He also caught 20 passes for 291 yards and a score. On defense he had 48 total tackles (15 solo), three interceptions and two sacks.
Carrillo also returned kicks for 295 yards averaging close to 30 yards a return.
The Raiders advanced to the first round of the playoffs in 2025 and finished 10-1 overall.
