So we all knew this was going to happen right? The first Sunday with the officials back and there have been at least four clearly blown calls already. And one of them was missed even after they spent five minutes reviewing the play.

Firm of Salgado, Love and Hull Lead Bulldogs

(Covina) – DeShon Love rushed for 155 yards including a 78 yard touchdown and Aaron Salgado had a 36 yard TD jaunt to lead West Covina to a 34-0 shutout of Covina Friday night to open the 2012 season.

The Peterson Principle 7/9/12

So West Covina wins the SGV Shootout? What? Last year the Bulldogs were knocked out early and that figured. With guys like Chris Solomon, Jimmy Frazier and Aaron Salgado all Head Coach Mike Maggiore was going to do was pound the ball and he did it all they way to a second consecutive CIF Championship.

Solomon Signs with Nevada

(West Covina) – West Covina running back Chris Solomon signed with Nevada Wednesday. Solomon took a trip to Colorado and was very impressed with the program but ultimately inked with Nevada.
