By Duane Barker (Covina) The Pomona Red Devils only led for 24 seconds but it was the final 24 in an epic 62-55 victory over the Northview Vikings in the second round of the CIF Mid Valley Division playoffs Friday night at Covina District Field.

Monrovia Turns Out The Lights On Grand Terrace’s Season
(Monrovia) The Monrovia Wildcats and the Grand Terrace Titans battled Friday night in the first round of the 2015 Central Division playoffs. The game included a lot of yellow laundry and a stoppage in play when the lights went out but the Wildcats weathered the interruptions and came out on top 27-17.

Northview Likes Their View From The Top
(Covina) The Northview Vikings and the Covina Colts battled Friday night for the spot as top dog in the Valle Vista League. It was the Vikings who came out on top leading wire-to-wire in a 42-28 win at Covina District Field.
