Rosemead HC Marc Paramo will get to face old pal Jim Arellanes beginning in 2014 when Marshall joins the MVL
I’m not sure why there is such an uproar about Marshall coming to the Mission Valley League. If I’m a card carrying member of the MVL I’m thrilled about the new entry.
Marshall, at least for the [...]
Former Schurr/ELAC quarterback Aaron Cantu has been working out with the first team at Southern Utah. We’ll have more details as we follow his college career.
For now here’s a shot of him in spring workouts.
In the not too distant future all of the coaches will not be gathering together on CIF selection Sunday. It won’t be necessary. It’s really not necessary now. All of the playoff pairings are online already and a lot of gas money would be saved by simply having the coaches log in to check [...]
Aaron Cantu had a record setting day for ELAC on Saturday
(West LA) - Aaron Cantu had a record setting day in leading East Los Angeles College to a 58-55 win over West LA College Saturday. The former Schurr quarterback completed 37 of 50 passes for 507 yards and six touchdowns.

3. Diamond Ranch cornerback Parish Stanford.
4. Chad Johnson released by the Dolphins.
5. Boston Red Sox legend Johnny Pesky dies at [...]
Xavier Beltran has emerged as the frontrunner to start at quarterback
(Pomona) – It may have been close to 100 degrees as the players strapped on the helmet and pads for thier annual intra-squad scrimmage Saturday morning. But for Diamond Ranch it was all good because it meant football season is here and well…isn’t that the most wonderful time of the year up on [...]
Tim Peterson and some wierd looking hippie dude like the Dodgers
I didn’t know picking La Mirada as the number one team in the Southeast Division would create such a stir. Aren’t we still in August? Isn’t Zero Week still three weeks away? I mean it’s not like we tabbed Lynwood.
Apparently the crime that we committed [...]
Ok so we can all start the chant now…OKC! OKC! OKC!
This is the best NBA Finals we could have hoped for. If you love LeBron James than you have a chance to see him win his first NBA title. If you hate him then what better place to see him lose than in the [...]
