Bonita Hangs On to Smudge Pot

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Bonita was up by three touchdowns early in the fourth quarter but then had to hold on to beat San Dimas 35-25 Saturday night in the Annual Smudge Pot battle at Citrus College.

By Tim Peterson (La Verne) – Bonita jumped on Arroyo in the first quarter, landed the knockout punch in the second and cruised the rest of the way in a 42-7 rout of the Knights Friday night at Bonita.

Glendora Wraps up Palomares

(Glendora) – Xzavier Ford scored twice on the ground to lead Glendora to a 28-7 win over Bonita Thursday night at Citrus College. With the victory Glendora wrapped up the Palomares League title.
