Bolt Action: 5/11/2026
By Tim Peterson The Chargers 2026 schedule will be released on May 14. The schedule will include the usual opponents in the AFC West plus games against the AFC East and NFC West.

The Rams traded backup center Geoff Reece, a third-round pick out of Washington State in 1975, along with a 1977 second-round pick (#51 overall), to the Seattle Seahawks for the 31st pick in the ’77 draft. Got it? Good!

The Dutchman, Norm Van Brocklin, passed away in 1983 at 57. The Hall of Fame quarterback shared quarterback duties with Ram legend Bob Waterfield early in his career.

1984—Rams trade picks #21 & #134 to the Kansas City Chiefs for cornerback Gary Green. He excelled for the Rams in 1984 and 1985.

By Tim Peterson One of the Chargers’ biggest concerns coming into the draft was that Akheem Mesidor wouldn’t be around when they made their pick at number 22 in the first round. When the former Miami standout was there the Chargers jumped on him convinced that they had their guy.

Third Day Summary: Rams tell us they still believe in Josh Wallace by not taking a CB….CJ Daniels puts Whittington and Mumphield on the clock…and they got a toilet clogger out of Alabama–Tim Keenan III…Hopefully he’ll play 15 to 20 snaps and add 20 more pounds. “I like fat DTs, and I will not lie.”
