Downey Tops Salesian, 35-14
By Rich Whittington (Downey)- The Downey Vikings proved a team does not have to be perfect to reach the CIF Finals as they committed several drive stopping penalties, but still advanced to next week’s Southeast title game with a 35-14 victory over Salesian Friday night at Allen Layne Stadium.
