Good Afternoon!

Go Blackhawks…

Honestly, you’re still telling me JV Spring football wouldn’t have been great?

***

Note to Bloggers: Thanks for the hits…analytics look great this month.

***

Note to Football Fans: Apparently you don’t need a .500 record for the playoffs this year.

***

I didn’t see the Dodger game yesterday…but I knew the word…the word was Broxton.  Broxton, the only word in the English language that makes “audit” sound reasonable…

***

Just curious if there will be any forfeits, loss of the scholarships, or give backs at Ohio State in light of Jim Tressel’s recent revelations?

No, no institutional control issues at Ohio State.

Discussion about Diamond Ranch usually centers on three things: Roddy Layton as HC and respecting his influence on the team, quarterback, and Andrew Fischer…but is anyone talking about linebacker Jacob Ardron?

Dude can play…check out his video…put with him some of the other talent returning to DR and a debate can begin about the fate of the Hacienda League this fall.

Am I saying West Covina can be knocked off?

I didn’t say that…not yet anyways…

Note to Truth2: Who did Steven Rivera replace as the starting quarterback at Arroyo? … Austin McFarland, who began the 2008 season as the Knights starter.

***

Note to Bruin Eagle 4: Absolutely, the second round of the NBA playoffs look amazing…I cannot wait to see the Heat and Celtics go at it. The Lakers-Mavericks or the Lakers-Trailblazers would be intense. Oklahoma City is a lot of fun to watch and could go to the finals.

You think Kendrick Perkins would like to get a shot at Boston?

Note to The Piper: Who’s your quarterback?

***

Note to Truth: Dude, you’re ticking me off! How dare you say I would sell out simply for some carne asada…Not a chance, not going to happen…My standard Intent-To-Sell-Out contract is; carne asada, fresh guacamole, flour tortillas, green onions (fresh off the grill), some queso, pintos, and ice cold Coca Cola from a glass bottle.

Since my body type these days is far more Minter than Robledo, you can tell I’ve been successful.

Winners of the Arroyo Golf Best Ball Tournament were Stefan Lawe and Octavio Lojero. The pair shot a 55 which is one over par at Arcadia 3 par golf course.
Victor Chavez and Ken Morimoto also scored a 55 but lost in the tie breaker by having one less birdie than the eventual winners.

Those are pretty good numbers…I think they best I ever did there was a 67…

***

Last Add Austin McFarland: He was also the first Arroyo quarterback in nearly two decades to not wear number 10. Offensive Coordinator Chris MacMillan told McFarland about the tradition of Knights quarterbacks wearing number 10, but McFarland decided to stay with his 7 jersey.

Minutes into the season opener against Temple City, McFarland broke his forearm and Rivera took over as a freshman.

Stay thirsty my friends…
