(San Gabriel)- Standout San Gabriel wide receiver Alex Villalobos has decided to play college football next season at Riverside City College.
The decision, though based on several factors, came primarily because of the Villalobos family’s pending move to the Inland Empire. It also doesn’t hurt that the Tigers program went 11-0 last year and is currently riding a 19-game winning streak extending back to September of 2010. He received interest from several different schools, but in the end settled on being close to family.
In Villalobos Riverside is getting one of the SGV’s best and the Mid Valley Sports; Mid-Valley Division Player of the Year. In 2011 Villalobos caught 125 passes for 2,001 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Good choice going to play for Tom craft he is one of the best offensive coaches around would have been nice to see him at mt.sac with nick montana
I would love to see this kid take it to the next level, I think he could really do some damage in the Pac 12. He may need to get his strength together in the next couple of years and work on maintaining his speed and I can see him light up the Pac 12 at receiver or slot.
your right, some of the boys are half awake anyway. lol
Cool thank you WorkOut, a lil rain won’t hurt them anyway!
Last time it rained they cancelled, light drizzle I think they will be out there.
Just wanted to congratulate this excellent young man, he is a stud on the field and im sure he will het swooped up from Riverside. Congratulations again Alex!
