  3. Lakers looking at Elton Brand, Antawn Jamison or Jermaine O’Neal
  4. Angels and Dodgers begin playoff push.
  5. Del Mar opens on July 18.
  6. Bishop Montgomery Head Coach Ed Hodgkiss is 15-7 in two season after taking over program that won just 15 games in previous six.
  7. Andre Either second rehab start at Rancho Cucamonga. Went O for 2 with an RBI and walk.
  8. Rookie Mike Trout; 12 HRs, 40 RBIs and .341 average.

    South el monte alumni game tonight @6pm at the swamp. Lots of former players who play college ball coming back to play coached by escamilla.
