(“The Ten” is not a top ten, but ten items worth being included in The TEN)

1. After beating the Lakers, the Clippers lose to Golden State and Cleveland.

2. USC receiver Marqise Lee leads the nation in all purpose yardage averaging 223 yards per game.

3. Arroyo’s last meeting with Bell Gardens was November 29, 2002 in the second round of the CIF Division VII Playoffs. The host Lancers beat the Knights 35-13 on a rain soaked night in what turned out to be Arroyo Coach D.J. MacKinnon’s last game.

4. USC is 65th in the nation in total defense.

5. ESPN NBA radio voice, and former announcer for the Chicago Bulls,Jim Durham passed away Sunday at the age of 65.

6. Arcadia’s last meeting with La Mirada was November 25, 2011. The host Apaches fell to the Matadores 31-28 in the second round of the CIF Southeast Division Playoffs.

7. Paraclete sophomore WR/DB Micah Robinson.

8. Temple City’s last meeting with Paraclete was December 6, 2008. The host Rams fell to the Spirits 27-6 in the semi finals of the CIF Mid-Valley Division playoffs.

9. South Torrance gets in the Northwest Division playoffs despite a Pioneer League record of 1-4 and an overall record of 4-6.
