It’s a fairly even match up talent wise but the Knights are at home and the Crusaders will have to deal with Friday L. A. traffic from Sun Valley to Torrance. It’s not much but it’s enough for Bishop Montgomery to prevail.

Mary Star of the Sea (4-5, Del Rey #3) at Gladstone (9-1, Montview #1)

The Gladiators didn’t really need more motivation but they got it when the Stars refused moving the game to Thursday. There’s going be a bashing in Baldwin Park.

Can the Eagles really be happy just to be in the playoffs? The Saxons will have Oak Park looking for their happy place early!

Compton Centennial (3-7, Pioneer at large) at La Salle (10-0, Del Rey #1)

Amazingly enough at 3-7 the Apaches are in the post season. That being said Centennial is probably the best team the Lancers have seen all season. The Apaches will hang early but Isreal Lacy, Amir Evans and Bryce Harvey will run wild.

El Segundo (6-4, Pioneer #2) at La Puente (8-2, Montview #2)

The Warriors have found their stride since the loss to Gladstone, wining their last six with an average margin of victory of over 25. The Eagles limp into the playoffs losing two out of their last three on the field. La Puente will control the line of scrimmage and the game.

Torrance (5-5, Pioneer #3) at Whittier Christian (7-3, Olympic #1)

Torrance received a beating last week at the hands of North Torrance while Whittier Christian has won five in a row. Jacob Hughes and the D-Line are the difference and the Heralds earn a trip to Ojai.

 Sierra Vista (7-3, Montview #3) at Nordhoff (9-1, Tri-Valley #2)

Only in the Montview will a 7-3 record earn you a trip to Ojai and Nordhoff. As far as the game goes, see Oak Park above.
