Brian Tucker and Sierra Canyon beat Northview; now travel to B.L. Bergstrom Stadium to face Arroyo
We’ve reduced the Top 10 to the Top Eight to recognize our second round playoff teams. No real surprises except Arroyo which routed Bell Gardens on the road. Best game of the second round could be San Marino at San Dimas. It’s a rematch of last season when the Titans fell to the Saints in the first round at San Dimas.
1. Paraclete (10-1) – Spirited rout of Temple City; El Monte next.
2. Sierra Canyon (10-1) – Trailblazers advance but Northview no pushover.
3. Monrovia (9-2) – Wildcats haven’t lost a playoff game since 2009.
4. San Dimas (10-1) – Saints blank Windward; host San Marino.
5. San Marino (10-1) – Titans Schurr look good!
6. South El Monte (7-4) – Red hot Eagles have won five straight.
7. El Monte (9-2) – Lions living on the edge…but still living.
8. Arroyo (7-4) – Where were these Knights all year?
