1.  St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford tears the ACL in the same knee he injured last season and will be out for the 2014 season.

2.  The Dodgers hit into a triple play in the 11-3 loss to the Mets when Yasiel Puig tried to score from second when Matt Kemp hit into a double play.

3.  The Angels beat the A’s 9-4 and salvage one win in the series to take a one game lead in the AL West.

4.  The Los Angeles Kings open up their preseason schedule Monday September 22 at the Arizona Coyotes.

5.  Former Indianapolis wide receiver Marvin Harrison turns 42 today.

7.  USC AD Pat Haden was hospitalized twice over the weekend because he wasn’t feeling well.
