2.  The Angels have won nine of their last 10 games and now have a 10 game lead in the AL West.

3.  Jerry Neuheisel replaces an injured Brett Hundly and leads UCLA to a 20-17 win over Texas.

4.  The Dodgers became the first team to draw 3 million fans on this day in 1978.

5.  APU’s Terrell Watson was held to 51-yards in Saturday’s 30-10 loss to Humboldt State.

6.  Belated birthday wishes to Sunny Hills coach Pete Karavedas and South Dakota School of Mines coach Zeke Prado who shared birthdays yesterday.

7.  Phillip Rivers throws for 284-yards and three scores, all to Antonio Gates, in Chargers 30-21 win over the Seahawks.

8.  On this day in 1991 San Diego State freshman Marshall Faulk set an NCAA rushing record of 386 yards.

9.  The Dodgers take two of three games from the Giants in San Franciso and remain three games up in the NL West.
