Brandon Trang had eight points for Temple City

(Azusa) – Richard Hollinger scored 18 points and Zach Jarrard added 16 to lead Temple City to a 66-31 rout of Mt. View at the Azusa Tournament Monday.
Temple City was up by just four, 14-10, after one but blew it open in the second outscoring the Vikings 17-5. The Rams continued the onslaught in the third quarter with an 18-6 run that gave them an insurmountable 49-21 lead.
Hollinger didn’t play in the first quarter but got started in the second before really heating up in the third. In the third he knocked down a pair of threes and had 10 in the quarter. He finished with three from beyond the arc for the game.
Jarrard had eight points in the fourth quarter after scoring eight though the first three. Clinton Quach was also in double figures for TC with 12.
Nathan Touche led the Vikings with 11, mostly down in the paint. Ezequeil Pena added eight and Juan Ciriaco added six.
Mt. View didn’t hit one three pointer in the game while the Rams finished with five from downtown.
The house was rocking at the Azusa Tournament
Temple City improved to 5-2 on the year while Mt. View fell to 3-7.
In earlier action Covina held on to beat Blair 59-55.
