(Baldwin Park) – James Heggins, who was the head coach at Baldwin Park from 2005 – 2011 has returned as the Braves HC.
Heggins went 41-35 with five playoff appearances during his seven year run. His best year was 2009 when the Braves went 9-3 overall and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
“I’m the coach for this year. It didn’t work out to get an on campus guy at this time so there is a plan to get someone on and then transition at a later date,” Heggins said.
Heggins takes over for Daniel Al-Gattas who resigned after one season. Baldwin Park went 6-5 last year and lost in the first round of the playoffs to San Dimas.
