(Whittier) — San Marino quarterback Carson Glazier threw for 395-yards, dished out six touchdown passes, and ran for another in the Titans’ 63-19 win over California Thursday night at Dick Torres Memorial Stadium.

Following a turnover on downs by Cal, Glazier and the Titan offense took three plays and less then two minutes to drive down the field to score. Glazier connected with wide out J.P. Shohfi for a 71-yard touchdown with less than 10 minutes left in the first quarter.

Glazier and Shosfi connected again for six before Cal’s Evan Barajas hooked up with Ricky Rodriguez for a 46-yard touchdown pass. The Condors went for two but failed to convert. San Marino led 14-6 at the end of the first quarter.

Mid-way through the second quarter, the Condor’s defense forced SM to punt deep into Cal territory. Thirteen plays and 84-yards later, tailback Robert Leos pushed his way into the end zone from 16-yards out. After missing another 2-point conversion, Cal cut the San Marino lead down to 14-12 midway through the second quarter.

With momentum starting to shift in the first half, Glazier connected with Aiden Santino for a 13-yard touchdown pushing the score 21-12. Couple minutes later, Glazier connected with Santino again for six, this time for 23-yards.

The Titan defense managed to force Cal to punt with less than 1:30 left in the half. Plenty of time for glazier to add six more. On the team’s final play of the half, Glazier connected with his favorite target, Shohfi for a 27-yard touchdown.

At the end of the half San Marino led 35-12.

The Titans added four more score in the third quarter before the backups took over. Glazier connected with Shohfi for his fourth TD reception and running back Micheal Chan radded two rushing touchdowns.
