Six of the seven top 10 teams all won with only Salesian taking a tumble. Cathedral, St. Francis, La Serna, Crescenta Valley and Dominguez all won big while Downey proved its mettle with a win over Millikan. Burbank wiped out Canyon. Harvard-Westlake drops out, Burroughs in.

1. Cathedral (3-0) – The Phantoms drop 83 on Washington; Dorsey next week.

2. St. Francis (3-0- The Golden Knights easily dispatch Monrovia.

3. La Serna (3-1) – The Lancers’ one-two punch of Anthony Garcia and Joseph Leal run over South Hills.

4. Crescenta Valley (3-1) – Boston Lakin and the Falcons get back on track.

5. Dominguez (3-1) – The Dons are a scoring machine. We’ll know more when league play begins.

6. Salesian (3-1) – The Mustangs still trying to put icy hotgate behind them. Get blown out by Loyola.

7. Burbank (2-1) – The Bulldogs over power Canyon; CV next.

8. La Mirada (1-3) – Another week, another loss to King Kong. Norwalk may suffer the consequences next week.

9. Downey (2-2) – Daevon Vigilant goes off for over 300 yards and four touchdowns in big win over Millikan.

10. Burroughs (2-1) – Indians knock out Santa Fe; open Pacific League play with Muir Friday night.
