1. Justin Urquidez, who played little league at Pioneer Park, and spent the last three years at St. Paul High School as a DL/OL, signed to play football with Division 3 Dordt College (Sioux City, Iowa.)

2. Leicester City won the English Premier League for the first time. Leicester, which had not finished higher than second since 1929, was 5000-1 underdogs when the season started.

3. Boston Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval, who signed a $95 million free agent contract, is expected to miss the rest of the season and will have exploratory surgery on his left shoulder.

4. The Dodgers rack up 13 hits including three home runs in a 10-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays.

5. The Rams picked up fifth year options on linebacker Alec Ogletree and receiver Tavon Austin.

6. The NBA admits there were five incorrect calls in the final 13.5 seconds of the San Antonio Spurs-Oklahoma City Thunder game Monday night.

7. Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper signs a ten-year extension with Under Armour that is believed to be the largest endorsement deal in history for a baseball player.

8. Temple City vs. Monrovia Wednesday at Temple City and Thursday at Monrovia.

9. Monrovia’s Isaiah Ramos is batting .455 with 1 HR and 12 RBI.

10. Sierra Vista (baseball) is 11-0 in the Montview and 17-1 overall. Workman is 0-10 and 0-17.
