1. The Washington Nationals beat the Dodgers 8-3 Monday to take a 2-1 series in the NLDS.

2. The Cleveland Indians beat the Boston Red Sox 4-3 Monday to sweep the ALDS and earn the right to meet the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS.

3. USC, which beat Colorado 21-17 Saturday and UCLA, which lost to Arizona State 23-20, are both now 3-3 overall.

4. The SEC is still trying to figure out when to reschedule the LSU-Florida game which was postponed Thursday due to Hurricane Matthew.

5. Boxer Aaron Pryor, a junior welterweight who had two memorable bouts with Alexis Arguello, died of heart disease at the age of 60.

6. The Rams fell to the Buffalo Bills 30-19 at the Coliseum on Sunday to fall to 3-2 overall.

7. The Minnesota Vikings (5-0) are the only undefeated team left in the NFL after a 31-13 win over Houston Sunday.

8. Number Four Michigan beat Rutgers 78-0 on Saturday.

10. La Salle running back Amon Milliner had 259 yards and three touchdowns on 36 carries last Friday night in a 38-28 loss to St. Francis.
