3. The Chicago Bears released tight end Trey Burton after just two years of a four-year contract.

4. The NFL draft will take place virtually April 23-25.

5. ESPN’s NFL Mock Draft – Top 5 picks: 1. Cincinnati Bengals – Joe Burrow, QB, LSU 2. Washington Redskins – Chase Young, DE, Ohio St. 3. Detroit Lions – Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio St. 4. New York Giants- Isaiah Simmons, OLB, Clemson 5. Miami Dolphins – Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon.

6. Bobby Winkles, former Arizona State/Angels manager passed away at the age of 90. Winkles won national titles as the Sun Devils head coach in 1965, ’67 and ’69 before going on to coach and manage in the majors.

7. The NBA is set to begin withholding 25 % of the players’ pay beginning May 15th.

8. On this day in 1912, Fenway park in Boston officially opened as the Red Sox beat the New York Highlanders 7-6 in 11 innings.

9. Also on this day in 1916 Weeghman Park in Chicago, now known as Wrigley Field, opened with the Cubs beating the Cincinnati Reds 7-6.

10. Former Dodger outfielder Todd Hollandsworth turns 47 today.

    The reason Worthy was able to scale that height briefly is that he imagined, for a moment, that he was Mountain View….and then everything became possible.
