You are right, any LS fan with any semblance of humility has to be fake.
Sounds like a fake LS fan hehe
Ah TheRanch18… the guy that talks the most for his team yet his team hasn’t beaten La Serna since 2014. Best part is he can always say “this year is our year” and then after they lose say “La Serna’s time will come”
Love it
@LSfan
Get your ppl on check my dude LOL…
I never thought I say this but I actually agree with you lol
@Anon: Have you read the thread? No one from ER is pounding their chests. If you are a LS booster please at least make sense. You make real LS fans look ignorant and petty.
ER – DL was def a offensive shootout . Defense was nowhere to be found. ER had the oppertunity to take off but seemed to make too many mistakes and just let DL catch momentum and get back in the game. DL improved from last year thats for sure.
WDN top 5:
1. St. Francis (Proven to win at high level)
2. Bishop Amat ( still top dawg unless someone beats them)
3. Damien ( they got the transfers, need to keep winning)
4. La Serna ( Pasadena , poor kids got fed to the wolves (baby wolves, with small dull teeth) Pasadena can only blame themselves)
5. St.Paul ( like Damien, is the hype real? need to keep winning)
ER plays a soft preseason and pounds their chest over an overhyped 7 on 7 team win. They barely squeezed it out. HA joke program.
WDN will always be rating Amat as high as possible just like the Mid loves Bonita and San Dimas. I also like teams with coaching continuity like La Serna, St. Francis, La Habra(Leaking a little oil) Charter Oak, Northview. Not ready to jump on the Moschetti band wagon and St. Paul also Covina. Teams not meeting expectations Cal, Baldwin Park, Arroyo, Schurr. As for ER and DL from the word on the street the team that had the ball last was going to win that game. Bell Gardens my pick for a division championship.
I was not expecting Azusa to be brilliant. But, I thought the Gladstone merger would help them be a bit more competitive.
I can see a WDN top 5 in this order.
1. Damien
2. St.Paul
3. St. Francis
4. La Serna
5. Bishop Amat
It’s great we get to see some of these teams play each other.
The Moschetti era at St Paul is a work in progress, but still, this coming Friday’s game against Bishop Amat looms large in the eyes of area fans.
WDN has LS #1 after beating a team that Keppel good whip. I’ll be a believer after they beat Los AL next week.
Don lugo was over hyped by this twitter stuff. I expected ER to get the w i honestly didn’t think they’d give up that many pts though. Not too big of concern for me coach medrano and staff teams gets rolling as the season goes. Takes a while for the engine to warm up.
Contrary to what some might be saying, Don Lugo is very improved, those transfers they got really made a huge difference, ER prevailed but my hats off to DL they brought it. People have been saying ER is down every year for like 6 years now, they just keep pumping out W’s.
This once again an example of the El Rancho development, a kid with barely any experience coming in 2 years ago, might’ve even been a linemen initially and he comes out and goes off. The good thing is as with most of El Rancho’s team it’s full of underclassmen, coaching at its finest, you’ll have a hard time finding any other staff do what they do with the players ER gets.
Kid was a JV player last year nothing special. This year he put in the work in the weight room and focused. A pleasant surprise indeed. ER has always had some tough running backs.
Can’t wait great competition in the MVL it’s going to be a great year
Why would anyone pick don lugo. Have you seen the past few years? Oh wait they did well in passing league ? Cmon you fools that ain’t football. It might have been close but Rancho is down this year. Easy dub next week.
Adrian pretty good about getting stats entered. I missed the game but moticed he pulled another unknown kid out of the bag. Orihuela ran for like 233 yards on 31 carries. Medrano seldon if ever runs a kid that much. I did not remember him from last year either. Maybe be he was like the Gipper chewing on grass laying on the sidelines until coach told him put a helmet on and do something.
Bohi is likethe shiny apple. It looks good and the first bite is crunchy but then when you get to the meat not so hot. This game was the first bite against a team trying to find its way. Casagran is clearly not in Kansas anymore. The next 4 games will tell if this apple is crisp or over ripe.
Friday nights are back baby. I Checked out Mt View on Thursday and SEM on Friday Vikings have a tough group this year we have some talent that ran all over Keppel. Now I know it’s Keppel but nonetheless it was a great start.
Eagles look like a new team meaning they can throw thee pigskin all over the place. El Monte with a huge win for the program should be a sign of good things coming from the lions.
Arroyo and Rosemead got beat pretty good new coaches at both schools should make for a wide open season. My gut is saying watch out for El Monte this year.
Pretty good last year with no D1 runner from what I know been lucky to have a few great runners but not every year but always seems to put a team in the playoffs.
I picked both Don Lugo and Baldwin Park to win but definitely not surprised that quiet established programs with veteran head coaches beat teams with new splash hire coaches
Congrats to Moschetti on his first win with the sword…nine more of those and they’ll make him the Pope. On the other side of town, shame on Zamora for getting drowned by Covina…nine more like that and….they’ll keep him in place! Louie’s the preference of the powers-that-be, just like Biden, so he’s untouchable.
Looks like after all the social media talk and recruiting Maxie and Knight did at BP and Don Lugo, they forgot that you’ve got to actually coach, prepare, and build a TEAM. The box score of these games show one thing for sure, the bigger, faster, and more athletic BP and Don Lugo teams were outcoached! Great job by the El Rancho and Montebello programs!
Bassett wins a thriller with 14 seconds left after giving up at 16 point lead with gets the W 29-28
Baldwin Park take a good look at Pasadena. That is in your future when the admin hires itinerant coaches that will leave for one reason or another.
Jessie cant do it without a D1 running back in his pocket. BG 40- SV 14
Montebello just beat Baldwin Park 33-30. Great job by the Oilers!
Matty v offense didn’t show up at all surprised he took the oc job on short notice
SG vs Rosemead Game Night Week 1 🙏
Don Lugo looked great on 7/7’s. Lets hope that translates to TD’s. It is one thing to scratch out patterns in the dirt and throw to your big fast star. Another doing it in pads while facing a blitz. Coach Knight gets his baptism tonite.
Any school that puts a TEAM together, win or lose , its already a success and the boys with coaches should be celebrated. Its sad that we are not putting as much emphasis and or resources in Athletics in our public schools.
End of the day, go have the time of your life and make memories.
I’m definitely glad these teams still playing . I’m not sure what you mean by bad luck? Certainly districting enrollment policies, league alignment, school openings have impact upon programs . But these teams are more strongly impacted by the administrators and school leaders at these schools ; some schools don’t really care or understand about the quality of football. That’s culture not luck.
Bassett takes on Glen not a big thing to talk about but just wanted to give some love to the boys at BHS hope they have a good season.
Those two squads now have the lowest CalPreps ratings I EVER remember seeing -101! and -95….wow
You will get your league of dreams with those two certainly included when realignment comes next year #devoloution
I’m happy that they are on the field. The same goes for Glendale, Hoover, and any other team that has had more than their share of bad luck.
Heads up, boys…and girls. Keep on going, and don’t let the detractors get you down.
Workman and Keppel need to be put in a league even lower than the 605. Call it the Hell’s Highway conference.
